Indian Ocean · Illustrated record
Anse Lazio
Praslin · Seychelles
The short version, from the cited sources
Anse Lazio, at the northwest corner of Praslin in the Seychelles, is the granite-boulder beach against which others are measured: sculpted pink-grey stones framing white sand and takamaka trees, with clear water that usually lies calm inside the bay's arms. It appears perennially in world-best-beach lists alongside its neighbour Anse Source d'Argent. Snorkelling is best around the boulder fields at either end.
