Cabo San Juan del Guia
Santa Marta · Colombia
The short version, from the cited sources
Cabo San Juan is the emblematic double cove of Colombia's Tayrona National Park, reached by a two-hour jungle trail where the Sierra Nevada de Santa Marta drops straight into the Caribbean. Giant granite boulders divide two arcs of sand beneath a thatched lookout hut that has become the park's icon, and hammocks and tents at the cape hold trekkers overnight. The park observes annual closures set with the region's Indigenous peoples, and several nearby beaches prohibit swimming outright.
