Ngapali Beach
Thandwe · Myanmar
The short version, from the cited sources
Ngapali is Myanmar's quiet flagship beach on the Bay of Bengal: several kilometres of palm-lined white sand where fishing villages still land and dry their catch beside a modest strip of low-rise hotels. Ox carts and fishing fleets share the shore, and the absence of jet skis and high-rises is deliberate policy. Its seasonality is sharp, centred on the November-to-April dry season.
