Asia · Illustrated record
Phra Nang Beach
Krabi · Thailand
The short version, from the cited sources
Phra Nang Beach, around the headland from Railay, pairs some of Thailand's clearest inshore water with its strangest shrine: the Princess Cave at the beach's end, where fishermen leave offerings for a sea spirit. A limestone island pair stands within swimming distance offshore, climbers traverse the overhangs above the sand, and the beach is reachable only on foot from Railay or by boat. It is regularly listed among the finest beaches in Asia.
