Praa Sands
United Kingdom
The short version, from the cited sources
Praa Sands is a white-sand beach and coastal village in the parish of Breage, Cornwall, off the road between Helston and Penzance. Once serving the local mining industry, it is now mostly tourist-orientated; the beach is popular with surfers and walkers, and a Second World War pillbox stands towards its southeastern end.
