Radhanagar Beach
Havelock Island · India
The short version, from the cited sources
Radhanagar Beach on Havelock (Swaraj Dweep) in India's Andaman Islands is a two-kilometre sweep of white sand backed not by hotels but by tall tropical forest, kept structure-free by regulation. Since a 2004 magazine cover named it Asia's best beach it has been the Andamans' signature image, yet development remains behind the tree line and the beach empties to walkers by design. The Andaman Sea here is clear and gently shelving.
