White Beach (Boracay)
Boracay · Philippines
The short version, from the cited sources
White Beach runs four kilometres along the west side of Boracay, its powdery white sand and calm aquamarine water long rated among the best in Asia. The island was closed to tourists for six months in 2018 for an environmental reset that rebuilt sewage systems and cleared structures from the sand; the beach reopened cleaner, with smoking, drinking and single-use plastics banned on the sand and the sunset paraw sailboats still its signature.
