Tides & conditions
The beach is different at another tide
Tide does more than move the waterline. It changes access, depth, reef exposure and sometimes the entire shape of the visit.

Distance changes first
On shallow lagoon beaches, a falling tide can uncover a wide platform of sand or reef. At cliff-backed coves, a rising tide can remove usable beach and narrow escape routes.
Activities shift with depth
A shallow area that suits wading at one tide may be too exposed for snorkeling later. Conversely, channels and currents can strengthen as water moves through reef openings.
Use the local prediction
Tide timing is location-specific. The architecture is ready for provider adapters, but the launch pages do not invent tide values when a verified feed is not connected.
